This
course aims to investigate through observation and practice, through reading of
and writing on historic buildings the mutual relations between objects and the
collections which keep the records of its history, like archives, collections,
catalogues and books. The
course is structured to expose students to the different perspectives/
approaches on conservation and heritage and to find out how archives and collections contribute to establish architectural history. The ability to articulate a critical position/ read the
built form and evaluate archival documents is key aspect to this course.
